Story time with Scratch Doctors....Once upon a time there was a machine that created an entire industry. It was called the Novus SRP Glass Scratch Removal System, and it was the first system ever created that could successfully remove scratches from glass. It came out in 1984 and dominated the industry for over 20 years. It removed scratches well, but it was a pain in the ass to work with! Now at days, all you need is a grinder and a couple of discs, and up the ladder you go. But back then a technician had a polisher, multiple hoses, a pump, spare parts, and a bucket filled with a hot cerium slurry that circulated a solution between the polisher and the bucket. And if that wasn't enough, the polisher was always breaking down, the slurry was constantly spilling from somewhere, and distortion was only one distraction away. Needless to say, the SRP system was not an easy system to deal with, but it the end...it gave birth to an entire industry. The End!
